Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an Independent Contractor, Microbiology Lecturer at our Midrand campus on a part-time basis.

Type of appointment:

Independent Contractor (part-time; flexible workhours agreement)

Purpose:

  • To lecture Applied Sciences-related modules, in the faculty on a part-time (contractual) basis.
  • To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications required:

  • Minimum MSc in Microbiology, Cell Biology or applicable field

Experience:

  • Relevant lecturing experience
  • Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
  • Relevant research experience
Duties and Responsibilities

Modules to be lectured:

Biology lecturer with specialty in: Introduction to Microbiology Medical Microbiology Introduction to Cell Biology Histology

Responsibilities:

  • Lecturing

  • Preparation of notes and additional study materials
