Trans Hex Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our Supply Chain team.

In this role, you'll ensure accurate inventory management across our warehouses and offshore operations - supporting seamless stock control, compliance, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all stock received, issued, and returned.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any variances.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortages.
  • Oversee inspection and dispatch of materials to offshore vessels and land-based operations.
  • Ensure all documentation and labelling are accurate and compliant with company standards.
  • Generate weekly and monthly inventory and reconciliation reports.
  • Participate in stock audits and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Embark on vessels for quarterly stock takes or audits as required.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with daily operations and ad hoc tasks.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Qualification in Accounting and/or Inventory Management (mandatory)
  • 3–5 years' experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in the offshore, maritime, or oil & gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and SAGE.
  • Strong organizational and numerical skills.
  • Understanding of accounting and inventory principles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in industrial environments
