We are looking for a highly analytical person in the capacity of Tax Accountant. This will suit someone who is interested in international tax, deferred tax and accounting, working as part of an international team across time zones and regions, with high volumes and pressurized environment. The tax accountant will specialize in tax accounting, understanding tax groups, legal entity and consolidated tax reporting using tax software.

We Will Trust You To Own The Preparation Of Deferred Taxation Verification Packages For Non-US Entities, This Includes Verifying The Following

  • US GAAP to Statutory Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Statutory Accounts to Taxation reconciliation
  • Deferred Taxation Balance Sheet balance, and supporting schedules
  • Corporate Tax calculation
  • Corporate Tax payable reconciliation / Tracking of Operating losses
  • Tax group payable arrangements and intercompany journal entries
  • Correspond with Financial Controllers to resolve any queries
  • Mergers and short period tax provisions
  • Preparation, and review of, Yearend Tax provision calculations for non-US entities under US GAAP Framework
  • Ongoing support to US Corporate Tax Reporting team
  • Forecast cash taxes
  • Train and supervise junior team members
  • Continuously improve processes, creating efficiencies and timesaving

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 3+ years Financial Accounting experience (including journal processing and reconciliations)
  • Fluency in English (Written & Verbally)
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in using Excel
  • SAP Knowledge is plus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with people of different cultures
  • Problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach
  • Inner drive for accuracy and meeting deadline
