Duties & Responsibilities

Job Purpose and Overview:

With extensive architectural experience at an enterprise level.  The network and firewall engineers will report to this person.

He will be responsible for the standards, policies and designs of all of our infrastructure.  He will also need to have extensive experience in the implementation of networks and firewalls – e.g. he still needs to be hands on.

Responsible for designing, installation, configuring and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure services.

Outputs:

  • Manage all system back-up and restore procedures.
  • Perform troubleshooting analysis to resolve any infrastructure issues.
  • Documents problems and resolution for future reference.
  • Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.
  • Implement standards and policies.
  • Network engineer: Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
