Overview:

A leading national supplier of steel and industrial products is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join their Worcester branch. The ideal candidate will have solid industry knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong track record in sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Visit customers to assess needs and promote products and services.
• Provide product and technical support.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Work closely with internal and counter sales teams to ensure seamless customer service.
• Check stock, prepare quotations, and process sales orders on Syspro.
• Handle account queries and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and upcoming projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3–5 years' experience selling steel and related products within a retail or industrial environment.
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative with strong sales and customer service abilities.
• Syspro experience is essential.
• Target-driven, with a solid understanding of the full sales cycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
