Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Intern/Junior Engineer, based on-site in Potchefstroom. The Intern/Junior Engineer will assist with the development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions, working closely with senior engineers and other team members. Daily tasks include writing code, debugging and troubleshooting software issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with team members to contribute to project planning and execution. The role also involves learning new technologies and methodologies to enhance skillsets and improve solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in software development, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with software testing and version control systems
  • Basic knowledge of software design and architecture
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
  • Willingness to work on-site in Potchefstroom
