RPA Support Analyst

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for RPA solutions across the client's Self Service & Robotic Enablement environment. Ensure operational continuity, SLA compliance, and proactive incident resolution for automated workflows deployed across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Monitor RPA bots and automation queues for performance, failures, and SLA adherence.
• Perform initial triage and resolve common issues (L1), including credential errors, system unavailability, and bot execution failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and apply configuration fixes (L2), escalating complex issues to development teams.
• Maintain and update SOPs, incident logs, health check records, and support documentation.
• Perform daily health checks (ASICS system), log file analysis, and alarm correlation.
• Support patching, version upgrades, and rollback plans for RPA infrastructure.
• Interface with development and architecture teams for enhancements and change requests.
• Ensure compliance with the client's ITIL-aligned service processes and security policies.
• Participate in service reporting, SLA tracking, and continual service improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors and OEMs for escalation and resolution of platform-specific issues.

RPA Tools & Technologies:

• UiPath – Orchestrator monitoring and Studio development.
• Automation Anywhere – Bot deployment and analytics.
• Blue Prism – Legacy automation platform.
• ASICS System – Health check logging and monitoring.
• OpenShift & AWS – Cloud deployment environments.
• Grafana, AppDynamics, Kibana, Sitescope – Monitoring and alerting tools.

Competencies:

Knowledge and Skills:

• 2–3 years in IT support and automation operations.
• Hands-on experience with UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere.
• Basic scripting (VBScript, Python).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (Remedy, Jira).
• ITIL service management understanding.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud deployments and monitoring integrations.

Education, Qualifications, Experience:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Diploma or degree in IT or related field
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• Experience in corporate environments and automation tools

Other Features of the Job:

• On-site support (Cape Town) hybrid model supported
• Operational hours: 06:00–18:00 weekdays; standby after-hours and weekends
• Occasional overtime during incident resolution or deployments
