Food preparation and serving

  • Assist chefs with food preparation, such as chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
  • Portion and plate food according to orders and quality standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers.
  • Prepare and set up serving areas, like buffets or counters.
  • Deliver food trays to customers or patients in different areas.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining areas, and workstations.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Follow proper sanitation and hygiene standards to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Dispose of waste and manage recycling procedures.
  • Restock food and supplies as needed.

Customer service and support

  • Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Take food orders and process payments accurately.
  • Help resolve customer complaints or questions.
  • Communicate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for guests.

  • Grade 11
  • Proven work experience as a Griller
  • Attentiveness and patience for customers
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
