Inventory Management Specialist

The Inventory Management Specialist will oversee the accurate management, control, and reporting of all inventories across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

  • Inventory Control & Reconciliation:
    • Maintain precise inventory records on enterprise systems.
    • Conduct daily, weekly, and month-end stock counts and reconciliations for all categories.
    • Investigate discrepancies promptly and prepare detailed reports for review by the Financial Manager.
    • Monitor and track all inventory movements between warehouses and factories.
  • Operational Coordination:
    • Collaborate with production and dispatch teams to verify goods received and dispatched.
    • Ensure all inventory transfers, issues, and returns are properly documented and authorized.
    • Implement and enforce internal inventory-control procedures to minimize losses and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Support cycle-count programs and resolve discrepancies before month-end.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate inventory movement and valuation reports for management review.
    • Assist in preparing month-end and year-end inventory reports for the finance team.
    • Highlight trends, wastage, or shrinkage issues to management and recommend corrective actions.
  • Compliance & Systems:
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
