About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our team for a first-phase software build. The successful candidate will help develop the system's core functionality, with the goal of delivering a completed first-phase product within 3–4 months.

This is a great opportunity for a junior developer with a strong foundation in ASP.NET Core and modern web technologies to gain hands-on experience, work within a structured development environment, and contribute to a focused, time-bound project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development
  • Develop and maintain front-end features using ASP.NET Core (Razor Pages, Blazor, MVC / React).
  • Build back-end functionality and APIs in C# and .NET.
  • Ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end components.
  • Create responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Database & APIs
  • Design and maintain relational database structures using Entity Framework Core.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs for communication between system modules.
  • Ensure secure and efficient data handling.
  • Quality & Delivery
  • Test, debug, and optimize features for functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the first-phase system is completed within the 3–4 month timeframe.
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with the project lead and team to implement technical requirements.
  • Communicate progress clearly and raise questions or issues proactively.
  • Contribute ideas for improving usability and technical performance.

Required Skills

  • Basic experience with front-end web development using ASP.NET Core (Razor Pages, Blazor, or MVC).
  • Familiarity with relational databases and ORMs like Entity Framework Core.
  • Strong understanding of C# and .NET development fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of source control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
  • Understanding of continuous integration (CI) concepts and build pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
  • Ability to take initiative, ask questions, and learn quickly.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for enhanced front-end work.
  • Experience with authentication and role-based access control.
  • Familiarity with email automation or notification systems.
  • Exposure to reporting dashboards or data visualization tools.
  • Experience deploying projects on Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • OR demonstrable practical experience through personal or professional projects.
