Creative Team Lead

Description

We're looking for a Creative Team Lead to join our team, initially on a fixed two-month contract, followed by a rolling agreement, to own and elevate our brand across South Africa and international markets. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with proven experience in trading or financial services, who thrives on creating standout work and guiding a high-performing team.

Requirements

• 8+ years' design experience, 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in financial services, trading, or fintech.
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Suite, and major design platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Prismic CMS and CRM-driven design.
• Proven ability to create and maintain brand CI.
• Experience in video, motion, and digital-first content.
• Strategic mindset with excellent project and people management skills.
• Advantageous: experience using AI design tools to enhance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-disciplinary creative team.
• Own our global and regional design strategy across digital, CRM, and brand.
• Drive innovation in website, landing page, email, and video design.
• Manage and evolve our corporate identity (CI) to ensure consistent global impact.
• Oversee Prismic CMS content and website design execution.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and CRM teams to deliver engaging, conversion-driven creative.
• Keep us ahead of the curve with Figma, Adobe Suite, AI design tools, and emerging platforms.
• Ensure all creative assets meet the highest standards and drive measurable results.
