Our client is looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technology organisation, drive innovation, and build platforms that support millions of players worldwide.

As CTO, you will define and execute their global technology strategy transforming how they build products, deliver gaming experiences, and scale across markets. You will lead a world-class technology function that powers cutting-edge platforms, data-driven insights, and resilient global infrastructure.

What You'll DoGlobal Technology Strategy & Innovation

• Define and execute a global technology roadmap aligned with business goals, market expansion, and product innovation.
• Lead the evolution of the iGaming platform to ensure scalability, stability, and market adaptability.
• Drive innovation across game delivery, RNG systems, analytics, and cloud infrastructure.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies including AI/ML, real-time data processing, AR/VR, and blockchain.
• Balance innovation, compliance, and operational efficiency across diverse regulatory environments.

Platform & Product Technology

• Oversee the architecture and continuous enhancement of gaming platforms and content delivery systems.
• Ensure high performance, low latency, and seamless integrations with global operators and partners.
• Champion modern engineering practices — microservices, APIs, DevOps, and automation.
• Enhance security, redundancy, and scalability to support millions of concurrent players.
• Lead platform modernization and cloud transformation across all business units.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Leadership

• Define and deliver the company's AI roadmap, embedding AI into product, player engagement, and operations.
• Apply ML models for segmentation, churn prediction, fraud detection, pricing, and personalized game recommendations.
• Champion ethical AI for detecting at-risk player behavior and ensuring responsible gaming interventions.
• Leverage conversational AI, chatbots, and sentiment analysis for player support and engagement.
• Utilize AI for procedural content generation, adaptive difficulty, and optimization of game performance and monetization.

People & Organizational Leadership

• Build, scale, and inspire a world-class global technology organization.
• Foster deep collaboration between technology, product, and studio teams.
• Develop leadership capability, succession plans, and talent pipelines.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across global tech hubs.
• Promote a culture of learning, experimentation, and technical excellence.

Strategic & Commercial Partnership

• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team shaping digital and commercial strategy.
• Partner with Product, Commercial, and Studio leaders to deliver cutting-edge gaming experiences.
• Manage relationships with technology partners, vendors, and regulators.
• Represent the organization at global technology, gaming, and innovation forums.

Technical & Professional Knowledge

Knowledge AreaRequirementExpert understanding of iGaming platforms, RNG systems, game engines, aggregation platforms, and multi-operator integrations

Deep knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and agile delivery across distributed teams

Experience designing and operating secure, cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP); microservices, containers, serverless

Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, integration frameworks, and third-party interoperability

Expertise in high-availability, low-latency systems at global scale

Experience leading modernization programs including legacy migration and AI-driven operations (AIOps)

Ability to align technology strategy with commercial goals and lead multi-regional teams

Awareness of emerging tech (Web3, blockchain, AR/VR, metaverse) and gaming applications

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar; MBA or executive leadership credentials

15+ years of technology leadership; 5+ years in senior executive roles in iGaming, fintech, or digital entertainment

Proven success leading global-scale technology transformation

Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, API ecosystems, and high-volume transaction systems

Deep understanding of iGaming platforms, player lifecycle management, RNG systems, integrations

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and strategic leadership
