We're seeking a strategic and hands-on CFO in the Manufacturing industry to lead our clients finance, IT and procurement functions. This is a key executive role responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance and supporting long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and executive team.
  • Oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and procurement legislation.
  • Oversee IT and procurement departments, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support strategic planning, investment decisions and commercial contract reviews.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers and insurers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls and ERP accuracy.

Requirements:

  • CA (SA) with 10+ years' post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in costing, management accounting and SYSPRO.
  • Proven leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • High attention to detail, integrity and ability to thrive under pressure.
