Bar Supervisor -Cruise Ship

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of all bars and lounges on the ship, ensuring that they are well-stocked, clean, and organized

- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of bartenders to deliver exceptional service to our guests

- Create and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed

- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations

- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner

- Collaborate with other departments, such as Food and Beverage and Entertainment, to plan and execute special events and promotions

- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff schedules

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members

- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, and ensure that all team members do the same

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or lounge setting

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality

- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as mixology and bartending techniques

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid passport and/or work permit
