Job Title: Civil Engineering Intern

Sappi offers a one-year internship
opportunity for recent graduate with a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil
Engineering.

This program provides hands-on, and
meaningful experience in overseeing civil maintenance at a mill under the
guidance of skilled mentors, helping candidates transition smoothly into the
professional world.

Location: Saiccor

The main responsibilities of the job:
- Inspect buildings, roads, walkways and water channels.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of repairs and civil maintenance.
- Assist with determining quantities of materials to be ordered.
- Monitor work of civil contractors, particularly local supplier development beneficiaries.
- Instruct contractors on safety and work procedures.

The ideal candidate must have:
- Grade 12/Matric qualification
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or the Built Environment
- No prior experience required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
and Teams
