Brief Description:
Are you an experienced BI Analyst with strong analytical, technical, and reporting skills?
I am currently building a pipeline of skilled BI Analysts for contract and long-term assignments across South Africa. These opportunities offer exposure to modern BI tools, data modelling, dashboard development, and enterprise-level analytics projects.

I'm looking for BI Analysts with experience working within Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Reporting environments. You will have the chance to work across industries, helping organisations make data-driven decisions through impactful insights and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret business data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
  • Perform data modelling, data validation, and data profiling.
  • Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
  • Translate business requirements into technical BI specifications.
  • Support BI testing, documentation, and system enhancements.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
  • Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as a BI Analyst
  • Experience with BI toolsets (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Proven experience working with SQL and relational databases
  • Strong SQL querying and data extraction skills
  • BI dashboard and report development
  • Knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data flows (advantageous)
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Python or R for data analytics
  • Exposure to cloud BI platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
