Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter / Joinery Production Supervisor to manage the full production process — from quotation and material planning to cutting lists, assembly, and final product delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry experience with a strong understanding of joinery manufacturing, accuracy in cost estimation, and the ability to lead a workshop team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quotations and costings based on drawings, site measurements, and material requirements.
  • Create accurate cutting lists and ensure materials are optimally used to minimize waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate the woodworking and assembly process in the workshop.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and shop drawings.
  • Oversee production schedules and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Manage and monitor material stock levels, ordering timber and hardware as needed.
  • Maintain quality control throughout the production process.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to workshop carpenters and apprentices.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.
