We're looking for a driven and results-oriented Telesales Agent to join our growing sales team and play a key role in helping businesses access our solutions.

Position Overview

The Telesales Agent will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, closing sales over the phone and working closely with Business Development Managers. You'll engage decision-makers across various industries, to introduce Nimble's debt recovery and credit management services, and convert leads into paying clients.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in selling financial products, services, or insurance, who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys turning conversations into conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients and follow up on leads.
  • Present Nimble's products and services professionally and persuasively.
  • Identify client needs and match them with the right solution offering.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of company offerings and industry trends.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Update CRM records accurately with all client interactions and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent Nimble's brand with integrity and enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of telesales experience in financial services, insurance, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong ability to build rapport and handle objections confidently.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
  • Matric certificate required; a qualification in Business, Finance, or Marketing is advantageous.

Working Hours:

You will be required to work a maximum of 45 hours per week:


• Monday to Friday: You will be required to work a maximum of 9 hours per day (in the week that you do not work a Saturday) and a maximum of 8 hours per day (in the week that you are working a Saturday) shifted between the times of 07:00 and 20:30 as agreed by management.


• Saturdays: You will be required to work a maximum of 6 hours per day on a maximum of 2 Saturdays per month shifted between the times of 08:00 and 14:00 as agreed by management.
