Introduction:

Our client is a global sports technology and data company developing cutting-edge, real-time ball and player tracking solutions for elite sports around the world. Their products are used in training sessions, live TV broadcasts, augmented reality experiences, and officiating, so enthusiasm for new greenfield technology is a must.

We are looking for a
Frontend Engineer
with a strong technical background and a passion for real-world problem solving. You will be part of creating a reliable, low-latency athlete-and-ball tracking system.

This role is ideal for an engineer with strong technical expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and an interest in sports technology.

Required skills / Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience with frontend engineering using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong experience with React (or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue)
  • Expertise with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Cypress)
  • Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data flows (AJAX, Fetch, etc.)
  • Comfortable with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with real-time data visualization (e.g. , , )
  • Exposure to sports technology or wearable tech environments

Responsibilities:

As part of their engineering team:

  • Build and maintain performant, user-friendly web interfaces for our sports technology products
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features and improvements
  • Support data visualizations that help teams and athletes interpret performance data
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • Contribute to improving UI/UX across platforms
  • Participate in an on-call rota to support live deployments
