We're looking for a rock star procurement expert to join our team of movers and shakers in the marine manufacturing industry.

Are you a skilled procurement professional with a passion for precision, quality, and getting things done? Step into a key role where your expertise directly supports the production of world-class catamarans.


Key Responsibilities

Source and procure all raw materials, components, and supplies for new projects and production.

Identify and evaluate suppliers, fostering reliable long-term partnerships.

Negotiate competitive pricing, favourable delivery terms, and supplier contracts.

Ensure all procured materials meet company quality standards and technical specifications.

Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with production schedules.

Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to forecast material needs and mitigate supply chain risks.

Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for management decision-making.


Basic Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Buyer or Procurement Professional, preferably in manufacturing or the marine sector.

Strong negotiation, supplier evaluation, and supplier management skills.

Experience in creating and maintaining BOMs.

Excellent understanding of inventory management and production scheduling.

Knowledge of both South African and international supply chains.

Strong analytical ability and proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential).

Experience with procurement/ERP systems such as Sage is advantageous.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field is advantageous.
