Key responsibilities

  • Strategy and planning: Develop and implement operational strategies and set objectives to improve performance and achieve business goals.

  • Operations oversight: Supervise daily business activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operations, including production, logistics, and customer service.

  • Budget and resource management: Manage budgets, control spending, and efficiently allocate resources, including materials, staff, and capital.

*

  • Staff management: Recruit, train, and supervise employees, set performance goals, and lead and mentor the team.

*

  • Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve operational systems, productivity, and quality control.

  • Performance analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and report on operational performance.

  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and local and national regulations.

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven work experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of operations management principles and organizational effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of industry-specific processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise between employees and management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R10 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
