Location Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club Posted Deadline Job Summary

Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to support Golf Shop operations throughout the 8-month season. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Retail Assistant will assist with buying, receiving, merchandising, and managing retail inventory while contributing to a high-level member experience aligned with the Club's values of respect, excellence, and enjoyment.

This role includes supporting Golf Shop staff with product knowledge and customer service, preparing tournament tee gifts and prize presentations, coordinating special and corporate orders, and ensuring the Golf Shop is organized, clean, and visually compelling. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding of retail trends, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in buying, receiving, and merchandising product in the Golf Shop.
• Manage defective merchandise.
• Assist Golf Shop staff with, product knowledge, staff development and training, product and customer service-related issues, and communicate with other departments regarding special events and day-to-day operations.
• Set up and clean up of member/corporate tournament tee gifts and prize presentations.
• Monitor member feedback, comments, and critiques; take appropriate measures that ensure and maintain total customer service and satisfaction.
• Consider and implement industry trends.
• Inspire progress, innovation, and change.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all related equipment and tools in the workplace.
• Assisting with special orders and corporate orders.
