As the Trails Field Guide , you'll be responsible for leading guided walks, game drives, and wilderness experiences while maintaining the lodge's exceptional standards of guest interaction and safety. You'll embody conservation ethics, storytelling excellence, and professionalism, ensuring every guest departs with a deeper connection to nature.

Responsibilities:

Lead walking trails and cycling safaris for lodge guests.

Conduct educational and engaging game drives.

Ensure guest safety and compliance with all guiding regulations.

Assist with lodge maintenance when required.

Contribute to conservation efforts through responsible guiding practices.

Maintain equipment, firearms, and vehicles in top condition.

Salary: R12,000 – R14,000 per month

Package Includes:

Live-in accommodation (single, furnished)

Meals and uniform provided

6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

FGASA Level 2 / NQF 4 (Lead Trails qualification essential).

Valid PDP, First Aid, and DEAT registration for North West Province.

Advanced Rifle Handling certification.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a 5-star safari lodge.

Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.

Ethical, professional, and passionate about the natural world.
