A well-established technology-driven organisation is looking for a Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function and act as a trusted right-hand to leadership. This is not a "jump ship every year" environment — tenure, loyalty, and long-term contribution genuinely matter here. You'll be responsible for keeping the financial engine running smoothly while strengthening controls, reporting, and decision support across the business.
If you're a professional who prefers building something solid over chasing constant change, this role offers real career depth, not just a job title.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full finance function from trial balance through to management and statutory reporting
  • Prepare monthly management accounts with clear commentary and analysis
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain reporting integrity
  • Support leadership with accurate financial insight and commercial decision-making
Job Experience and Skills Required
  • BCom degree with completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
  • Minimum of 3 years post-article experience in a Financial Controller or senior accounting role
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting capability
  • Proven stability and tenure in previous roles
  • Solid Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
  • Detail-driven, reliable, and comfortable taking full ownership of finance
