• Develop and oversee content production for Career Indaba Radios flagship shows, including:
  • Breakfast Show Daily deep dives into employment trends, economic policies, and leadership.
  • Career Bootcamp Show Practical career advice, upskilling strategies, and industry insights.
  • Youth Plug Focus on graduate employment, entrepreneurship, and youth career development.
  • SME Drive Business growth strategies, SME funding, and enterprise development discussions.
  • World of Work Show Thought leadership on the future of work, digital disruption, and AI.
• Research, script, and coordinate interviews with high-profile guests, ensuring informative and engaging discussions.
• Develop thought-provoking topics that align with global and African labor market trends.
• Oversee production schedules, content planning, and editorial direction to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coordinate live and pre-recorded shows, ensuring smooth execution, guest management, and audience engagement.
• Drive audience engagement strategies through storytelling, social media integration, and interactive programming.
• Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to align radio content with digital, print, and podcast platforms.
• Monitor industry trends, economic shifts, and policy changes to keep Career Indaba Radio ahead of the curve.

• A seasoned media professional with 5+ years of experience in radio production, journalism, business reporting, or broadcasting.
• Strong research and storytelling skills with expertise in economics, labor relations, business, or employment policy.
• A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the African labor market, workforce trends, and policy frameworks.
• Excellent scriptwriting, editorial planning, and content curation abilities.
• Adept at managing high-profile guests, scheduling interviews, and producing live and recorded content.
• Familiar with broadcast technology, digital radio, and multiplatform content integration.
• Passionate about employment transformation and economic development in Africa.
