It offers a range of specialised undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that capacitate and educate students across multiple disciplines.The Arts and HumanitiesExtended Curriculum Programme (ECP)provides comprehensive interdisciplinary foundational provision across five modules for students selected for the extended four-year Bachelor of Arts, with specific emphasis on developing critical academic literacy and critical citizenship.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be appointed in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and as part of the Extended Curriculum Programme, will be responsible for the following key performance areas:Facilitate interdisciplinary learning for undergraduate Extended Curriculum Provision in the Arts and Humanities;Provide academic leadership and administration;Undertake curriculum development and assessment;Participate in community engagement and outreach.Minimum RequirementsMasters qualification or equivalent in the field of the Arts and Humanities;Demonstrated experience in facilitating learning in Arts and Humanities specific to the Extended Curriculum Program.Key CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English;Presentation and facilitation skills;Adaptability and the ability to operate in a diverse environment;Student focused approach;Planning and organising skills;Computer literacy and e-learning skills;Technical professional knowledge and skills in the discipline and in the core strategic areas, namely learning and teaching, research and scholarship, community engagement as well as professional leadership.In your application, you are encouraged to highlight your strengths and include anything else you deem exceptional and outstanding to be considered by the selection panel.
