Role Description

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Bookkeeper
to join our Finance team in Sandton. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage complex financial processes, support compliance, and ensure accurate reporting across the business.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with international companies and managing multiple accounts across different regions
    .
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or senior financial administration role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory requirements, and financial best practices.
  • Experience working on ERP/financial management systems.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong overall computer literacy.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure proper reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns (VAT, Tax, etc.).
  • Support audits and management reporting.
  • Maintain asset registers and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders across multiple regions.
