**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and reconcile complex financial transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by senior management.
- Supervise and mentor junior bookkeeping staff, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance financial operations.
**Requirements**:
**Essential Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior bookkeeping role or similar position.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex financial data.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in payroll management and tax preparation.
