Role Overview

As a Shipping Container Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for driving container sales across Gauteng and beyond. You'll source leads, negotiate deals, and build long-term relationships with clients seeking new or refurbished containers for storage, transport, or modular use. This role demands market insight, persuasive communication, and a structured approach to sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential buyers of shipping containers (individuals, SMEs, corporates)
  • Present container options (sizes, grades, modifications) tailored to client needs
  • Draft and deliver persuasive proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and after-sales support
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, and performance reports
  • Represent FAR Cooperation at trade shows, expos, and networking eventsSkills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, infrastructure, or container trading
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain technical specs and container applications clearly
  • Familiarity with container grades, modifications, and transport logistics
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multilingual fluency (English and Afrikaans preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
