Job Summary / Purpose:

The General worker is responsible for labour assistance with factory operation activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with Company Policies and procedures.
  • Controlling fill level through weighing product and ensuring compliance to specification.
  • Report any non-conformance to the supervisor.
  • Hand fill product.
  • Sealing final product.
  • Cleaning and housekeeping as per company policies and procedures.
  • Labelling and preparing packaging material.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • General cleaning.
  • General task as might be requested.

  • Communication - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Thinking process – Ability to use judgement to make sound decisions.
  • Basic math skills.
