In this role, you'll develop advanced predictive models, guide data strategy, and collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to influence decision-making across the business. You'll work on challenging datasets, applying your expertise in Python, SQL, and machine learning to create scalable, high-impact solutions.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Senior Analyst, ideally within fintech, payments, or digital commerce.
  • Proven ability to connect technical work to strategic outcomes — influencing senior stakeholders through insight and evidence.
  • Expertise in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, pyspark), SQL, and applied machine learning.
  • Experience building dashboards and analytical reporting in AWS Quicksight, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, especially Athena, Glue, SageMaker, Bedrock

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of data modelling, feature engineering, and statistical inference.
  • Experience with A/B testing, recommendation systems, and behavioural modelling.
  • Strong grasp of data pipelines and cloud data architectures (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Athena, Glue).
  • Awareness of LLMs, embeddings, and prompt engineering for business applications.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable narratives and compelling business cases.
