FMCG company based in Brackenfell, is looking for a high performing Jnr Merchandiser to join their vibrant young team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2- 3 years' experience within a similar role.

You will be assisting with the following:

Ensure shelves, fridges, and display areas are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing

Rotate stock according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to maintain product freshness

Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items

Maintain accurate stock levels and report shortages to the store manager

Assist with receiving, unpacking, and packing of stock deliveries

Set up promotional displays, point-of-sale materials, and in-store marketing campaigns

Monitor pricing labels to ensure all products are correctly priced

Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory control

Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff, suppliers, and customers

Identify and communicate consumer trends and product performance

Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards

Provide customer assistance when required and ensure positive customer experience

Qualifications:

Matric/Grade 12 Certificate

Minimum 2-3 Years experience in a FMCG (Food) store environment

Working knowledge of: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Skills:

Good communication skills and able to work well with a diverse team (Afrikaans & English)

Deadline orientated and work well under pressure

Attention to detail

Excellent time management skills

Positive and assertive attitude

A good team player

Must be someone who is humorous and pleasant
