Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, software, and peripherals
  • Assist with network setup, troubleshooting, and security monitoring
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance
  • Support IT inventory management and documentation
  • Help set up workstations for new employees
  • Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary

Qualifications

Required:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments
  • Understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred (Optional):

  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, or cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation)
