Job Opportunity: Learning and Commissioning Practitioner (Contract Position)
Location: Sasolburg, South Africa
Industry: Petrochemical 

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Commissioning Practitioner to join our client's team on a contract basis for a major petrochemical client in Sasolburg.

Key Responsibilities:

Training
  • Development and updating of Training material
  • Development and updating of Training matrices
  • Development of Training plans and schedules
  • Training of operations and commissioning teams
  • Training validation
  • Gate 5 preparedness (Training requirements)
  • PSSR preparedness (Training readiness)
Permit Issuing
  • Permit issuer - all responsibilities as per client permit code
  • Manage resources (SPC/PC/standby's)
  • Communication of planned project activities, permit conditions, hazards, potential impacts on running plant with running plant shift foreman
  • Monitoring of risk mitigation/prevention measures
Commissioning
  • Execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities
  • Blank inspections
  • Manage standby's
Qualification:
  • Education: High School / School Diploma or similar / Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate
  • Experience: 6+ relevant years
