To implement, monitor, and analyse inventory processes and activities that safeguard the integrity of store stock. This role is key in identifying and reporting financial stock risk exposure, driving actions that positively influence business cash flow, and improving stock holding efficiencies. Through accurate reporting, strong controls, and proactive problem-solving, the Inventory Manager ensures optimal stock accuracy, availability, and profitability.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
1–2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably within stock or inventory management

SAP working knowledge

Computer literate (MS Office)

Excellent planning, organising, and prioritisation skills

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and report any deviations from merchandise standards to the Store Manager
Review, and analyse daily stock and variance reports to identify trends or discrepancies
Ensure the stock count plan is executed efficiently and accurately
Prepare and actively participate in all stock-takes and cycle counts
Verify and resolve stock variances in collaboration with management
Lead, coach, and develop the stock control team to achieve store and departmental goals
Plan and execute ad hoc store requests for counts or audits as required
