The Front of House Manager oversees all customer-facing operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through excellent service standards, staff management, and efficient coordination between front and back of house. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to maintain smooth daily operations and uphold brand standards.

Skills

  • Fully bilingual - English and Afrikaans.
  • Strong leadership, people-management, customer service and communication skills.
  • Skilled in handling guest feedback, reservations, and service flow under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of POS systems, cash-up procedures, and basic administration.
  • Friendly, reliable, passionate and organised.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams for smooth operations.
  • Hospitality or restaurant management qualification advantageous.

HOURS

Employees are expected to be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. The restaurant operates six days per week, but only open two evenings per week (until 21h00). Extended hours may apply from time to time for functions or during high season.

SALARY

The proposed salary for the role is R8k - R15k per annum. The offer may be marginally negotiable, but will be market related in line with your qualifications, skills, and experience.
