Lexdan Select is assisting a group of companies with their search for a Bookkeeper, based in Constantia, Cape Town.

Salary: R25 000 to R32 000 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • AR and AP
  • Processing of both supplier and customer invoices accurately and timeously.
  • Preparation and execution of payments.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolving queries.
  • Reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Petty cash and credit card reconciliations.
  • Review and maintain ledgers to ensure accurate coding of revenue and costs.
  • Prepare monthly VAT Turnover reconciliation and submit VAT 201 forms.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis of the income statement and balance sheet.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficient in
    Xero
    and/or
    Pastel
  • Experience working in the property industry (advantageous)
