Product Specialist (Sales Consultant) – Architectural Products (Glass & Aluminium)

Location: JHB (Head Office is in Cape Town)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic Product Specialist (Sales Consultant) to join our team.

Job Summary

We seek a driven Sales Consultant who thrives in a target-driven environment and is passionate about delivering top-notch client service. This role involves generating new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and providing technical sales solutions. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, is structured and process-driven, and is comfortable handling pricing, quotations, and project estimation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive selling.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to clients based on their requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments and accurately interpret building plans.
  • Prepare estimates, quotations, and pricing calculations.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and client records.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the Glass, Steel, or Aluminium industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of architectural glass and aluminium products.
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in pricing, cost estimation, and quoting.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with sales tracking tools.
  • Structured and process-driven approach to sales execution.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.

Prerequisites

  • Bilingual (Specify preferred languages).
  • Own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
