Key Responsibilities:
- This role requires specialized expertise in diagnosing and repairing high-capacity slurry pumps. A qualified supervisor ensures that repairs meet OEM standards, reducing the risk of repeat failures and extending equipment lifespan.
- Planning and managing service workflow from receiving to dispatch, distributing work accordingly to available staff.
- Ensuring all repairs meet OEM standards and sign-off projects.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric), N4 certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
- Qualified Fitter / Millwright (Verified Section 13 / 26D qualification).
- Valid driver's license.
- 5 years' related experience in an engineering/mining environment (Workshop experience advantageous) and 2 years' supervisory or management experience.
- Sound knowledge of slurry pumps (Assembling, Repairs and Maintenance).
