What Were Looking For

  • A valid South African ID or work permit
  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years experience in a professional kitchen (hotel or upmarket restaurant preferred)
  • Hands on experience in pizza dough preparation, topping, baking, and oven management
  • A culinary qualification or certificate (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency under pressure
  • A strong team ethic and willingness to learn and grow
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

What Youll Do

  • Prepare and cook high quality pizzas and related dishes with precision and passion
  • Manage your section efficiently, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
  • Assist with dough preparation, ingredient rotation, and mise en place
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene in your workstation
  • Monitor oven temperatures and ensure perfect bakes every time
  • Support senior chefs with daily operations and contribute to menu creativity
  • Uphold the hotels standards of excellence and contribute to a positive team culture
