• Who we're looking for: A Senior Talent Partner to own core hiring pipelines as we scale in Cape Town and build our presence as an employer of choice.

• Where you'll work: This role will be based in Cape Town, you'll be part of our global team, collaborating with colleagues and serving customers across the UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, and beyond. Our hybrid approach offers flexibility with regular team connection in our Cape Town office 3 days per week.

As a Senior Talent Partner, you'll be responsible for hiring top talent in our new Cape Town office, with a core focus on Backend (PHP/Laravel), Frontend ), Platform Engineers, and Data Engineers as well as non-technical roles such as Operations and Finance when needed. You'll also take ownership of our employer branding efforts in Cape Town to help us become a go-to tech employer in the region.

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for both technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing to offer stage.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and craft compelling job specs.

• Source and engage passive talent across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.).

• Screen and assess candidates for both technical skill and cultural fit.

• Work with the People and Marketing teams to create and execute local employer branding campaigns (e.g., tech meetups, university outreach, online content).

• Maintain and improve ATS workflows and recruiting processes.

• Track key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline quality) and report on hiring progress.

• 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a tech/startup environment.

• Proven track record in hiring software engineers, especially in PHP, Laravel, Vue, or related tech stacks.

• Experience hiring for Platform, DevOps, or data engineering roles is a strong plus.

• Solid understanding of the technical recruitment landscape in South Africa, particularly Cape Town.

• Comfortable using ATS platforms (we use Ashby) and sourcing tools e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter

• Experience or strong interest in employer branding, events, or content creation.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to pitch roles and the company culture persuasively.

• Background working in high-growth startups or scale-ups.

• Experience in hiring non-technical roles such as Operations and Finance.

• Experience working remotely with distributed teams.

• Creative eye for employer brand storytelling or social content
