Position: Service Advisor Company: Jobs2day South Africa Location: Port Elizabeth, South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor for our client, a prominent dealership group in Port Elizabeth. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. You will act as a liaison between our clients and our service department, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers and assist them in scheduling service appointments - Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them for the service department - Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle and any recommended repairs or maintenance - Provide estimates for repair costs and obtain customer approval before proceeding with any work - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance - Follow up with customers after service is completed to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner - Maintain a thorough knowledge of our services and products to effectively answer customer questions - Keep track of service records and update customer profiles in our database - Meet and exceed monthly service sales targets - Collaborate with the service team to improve processes and customer satisfaction Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving abilities - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using computer systems and software - Knowledge of automotive terminology and basic vehicle maintenance is a plus If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this position.
