The position requires you to evaluate cost structures and management practices, identifying areas for improvement to contribute effectively to the organization's profitability and commercial success. You'll work on optimizing working capital management. Your role involves cost reduction, internal audit procedures, business case analysis. You'll prepare budgets and forecasts, maintain internal financial controls and procedures, present financial results to HOD’s and the CEO, and handle compliance-related matters.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES** will include but not limited to:

- Reconcile ZAR and EUR customer bank accounts on a daily basis to ensure accurate financial tracking -Prepare, maintain, and reconcile general ledger accounts to offer a clear financial picture. -Generate monthly management accounts that provide a comprehensive overview of financial performance. -Oversee invoicing. -Work comfortably with complex accounting needs across multiple company departments or subsidiaries. -Assist with annual audits, and contribute to the review of annual financial statements to certify their accuracy. -Regularly test internal accounting systems to make sure transactions are recorded as they should be. -Engage in ad hoc projects such as system building, improving process efficiencies, creating automation, and implementing internal controls. -Setup of Financial Statements for Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Closed Corporations. -Cash Flow Forecast Planning. -Maintaining Fixed Asset Register

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong math, statistical, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Xero, Semper, Ezi.
