The Senior ERP Delivery Lead will play a critical role in delivering successful solutions by partnering with business and technology stakeholders to elicit requirements and manage the design and development of ERP-related modules. - This individual will be responsible for managing the projects technical resources across functional boundaries, technical resource allocation and planning at the task level. - She/he will be responsible for collaborating on the prioritization of technical requirements and participating in estimating technical work effort. Since the delivery lead is involved with multiple business functional groups (e.g. Legal, HR, Finance, etc ), the lead will not only know how to manage multiple projects, but will also possess strong technical, troubleshooting, and analytical skills - combined with the ability to communicate well in both verbal and written form. **KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**: - Provide strategic and operational leadership to the team, in line with business requirements, technology standards and best practices within the function. - Oversee and lead the design, development, and implementation of the project activities with the project teams. - Provide project leadership and support through work planning with onshore and remote teams. - Attend and participate in "stand-up" meetings, scope meetings, steering committee meetings. - Understand all stakeholder goals and expectations and address any misalignment and monitor and control the program to meet and where possible exceed the agreed expectations. - Facilitate technical assessments, design, development, testing, troubleshooting activities and change management in support of complex software and hardware systems comprised of many technical components. - Obtain buy-in from senior management and other project key stakeholders for all critical project’s plans, commitments, and changes - Monitor the progress of project activities and frequently report on overall project progress to senior management. - Draw attention to risks and issues that lie on the critical path and could potentially impact the achievement of key milestones. - Work with the project team to mitigate and resolve risks and issues. - Working effectively with different teams across the organization to ensure mutual interdependencies are fulfilled and coordinate the necessary readiness activities for the cutover to production. - Manage escalations by working with relevant party to resolve issues and ensure clear communication on escalation responses are done in timely manner. - Build and maintain solid relationships with key business and technical stakeholders. - Partner with business systems analysts and respective cross-functional business groups (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, etc...) ensure requirements are accurately captured and well understood. - Understand existing and anticipated ERP functionality, including cloud-based offerings that meet business demand. - Support innovative initiative processes and identify opportunities to reuse existing solutions. - Ensure the team monitors business developments and offer up views on how systems can help business strategy and make sure these go into a living system snapshot, roadmap & project history document and make sure these are presented to business from time to time. - Influence and manage SLA’s with infrastructure support to ensure high levels of availability. **TACTICAL PLANNING and OPERATIONS**: - Working relationships with Operational area must include: - Discussing status of projects - Discussing new projects on the horizon - Discussing system issues that may or may not require planning analysis - Ensuring that Operations is involved in a project every step of the way, such that they can prepare for ATP work and any roll-out activities - Provide Operations the opportunity to provide ideas on system evolution from the perspective of maintaining platforms on a day-to-day basis - Perform ATPs with Operations and vendors **ECOSYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES**: Implementation of ERP functionality within the business to support the following: - Finance - Human Resources - Procurement - Group HR - Inventory Management (device management) - Warehouse and Logistics - Internal Portals - Reporting and Analytics - Single Sign on **Which in turn supports the following**: - THE COMPANY’S SA internal systems - Finance, Human Resources, Procurement - Warehouse & Logistics - Branded Retail Channel, Retail businesses **BUSINESS ANALYSIS**: - Perform Business Analysis in line with the Company’s methodology and guidelines. - Identify ways to fine tune policies, processes, and systems in line with changing work practices. - Determine, document, and review requirements for projects within the scope of the value stream or impacting processes and systems. - Identify Business Improvement and Optimisation opportunities that will result in improvement of process performance. - Identify and implement innovative ways to use minimum resourc
