Our client is a leading OEM within the mineral processing space. The Supply Chain Manager assumes full accountability for the successful execution of the strategy and KPIs in the Logistics, Procurement, Inventory and Warehousing elements of the Company.

**Responsibilities**:
Implement and maintain Logistic Supply Services suitable for local and export customer support.
Implementing sound supply chain management in respect of the procurement of raw materials and bought out items with a view to achieving On Time Delivery (OTD), containment of Purchase Price Variances (PPV), driving cost savings and improved lead times.
Dealing with external suppliers
Maintaining and develop effective inventory management with a focus on availability, fill rate, inventory turns and reduction of slow and obsolete stock.
Guide warehouse team regarding Inventory Management, productive and efficient receiving and dispatching services.
Relentless execution of continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain.
Resourcing, developing and leading the Supply Chain Personnel
Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for improvements and minimize operational gaps
Engagement with Company Strategic Purchasing Teams
Engagement with Company Sister Companies wrt intercompany purchases
Engagement with respective Sales teams
Drive compliance wrt BBBEE procurement requirements
Ensuring Compliance to QMS standards

**Requirements**: Qualification and Skill

Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or any other relevant qualification.
10 years' experience in a similar role (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Experience in putting together and managing high performance teams
Experience in ERP system is critical
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience
Multi-national company exposure
Extensive International Supply Chain experience
