Our Cape Town office is looking for a **DTP ART DIRECTOR **to join our **Cape Town Team**.A desktop publishing artist is a skilled DTP Art Director, responsible for translating the templatized work of creative art directors, populating a price and product layout against a brief and finalizing it into print and digital files.

**Brief summary of main duties (includes but not limited to)**:
Working to a design brief from the client or designer.

Using DTP software (Adobe) to produce a layout for each page of the publication.

Selecting formatting, such as the size and style of type, column width and spacing.

Selecting and checking colours.

Excellent attention to detail.

Product and price layout.

**Minimum relevant experience and skills/attributes required**:
3 - 5 years experience in DTP Art Direction

Experience must include working on retail clients in and advertising agency.

Relevant tertiary qualification in DTP/Art Direction or similar

Knowledge of and experience in using Adobe software (Adobe InDesign)

Knowledge of product and price layout is essential

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Team player with the ability to work independently

Ability to multi-task across multiple briefs at any given time

Ability to work under extreme pressure

Deadline driven

Resilient

Reliable

Accountable

Meticulous with attention to detail (careful and thorough in completing tasks and meeting deadlines)

Flexible to work overtime (outside of regular working hours)

- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
