Sales Account Manager

**Introduction**
Well established Telecommunications company in Westville, Durban looking for a Senior account manager to join our growing team.
We are a family focused business, and the position would suit someone who loves to be a part of a team.
The Senior Account Manager serves as the primary business contact and key interface between the client and the organisation and is entirely responsible for any customer facing interaction, and overall customer satisfaction.
In doing so, the Account Manager is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to the client, as well as represent client needs and goals within the company. It is important that the account manager builds a lasting and trusting business relationship, with the client, which will produce on-going and increasing repeat annuity business to the mutual benefit of both parties.
To do so successfully it is expected that the Account Manager fully understands all aspects of the client’s business, their end users, and maps this to the strengths, products, and services of the organisation.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- You will be expected to identify and solicit potential clients, prepare, and administer sales contracts, and maintain customer records.
- You will be required to build market position by location, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
- Developing sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits of the companies’ services offered.
- Estimating costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
- Preparing and administering sales contracts and maintaining customer records
- Consulting with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Generating leads
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
- Oversee proposal development through creating offers that provide the best affordable value and ensure that proposals address the account’s key issues, needs and requirements.
- Have a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, the fit in the marketplace and into the client.
- Keep abreast of current market conditions and changing market and customer needs and trends.
- Develop exceptional knowledge of current and potential accounts’ competitors, problems, goals, needs and issues and accordingly assists accounts in identifying needs, defining solutions, and selecting the right products and services.
- Understand sales targets.
- Ensure that the Quote pipeline and Order pipeline is extensive enough to ensure that targets are achieved.
- Achieve targets that are set, and which may change from time to time.
- Actively participate in promotional activities within the company and activities targeted at the client.
- Your primary responsibility is to sell telecommunications products and services to companies.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- Experience in the ISP / Telecoms Industry - **Essential**:
- Service/Product Experience - Fibre, Connectivity, Infrastructure, VOIP, Firewalls, networking.
- Minimum 3 years sales hunting & account management experience in telecoms or similar.
- Minimum 5 years strategic sales experience in a similar environment.
- Matric
- Valid driver’s license
- Own reliable transport/vehicle

**Renumeration**:
Basic Salary, commission, car allowance, petrol allowance.
**Salary**: From R20,000.00 per month
