We encourage our people to bring their whole self to work and focus on enabling them to realise their full potential. **Role Description** A leading global law firm is looking to hire mid-level to senior qualified lawyer who has had experience working in the incentives space. The firm’s incentives team advises on both public and private company employee share plans across a broad range of sectors. The team has daily interaction with the rest of the firm's teams particularly corporate, employment and tax. The practice has a UK focus. **Key Responsibilities**: As mentioned, the firm requires a mid-level to senior qualified lawyer who has had experience working in the incentives space to assist the Incentives practice on a consultancy basis for a period of up to 12 months. The role is to support the team during a period of growth. To date, the team has worked where necessary on matters with additional support from Associates within the firm’s Corporate and Employment teams. However, due to a strong pipeline of increasing and varied work, it has been decided that this work should be centralised in a further dedicated Associate for the practice. You should be confident in working on the due diligence and implementation incentives aspects of listed and private corporate transactions and enjoy a "deal" environment. You will also work with the incentives team and the corporate practice on aspects such as tax structuring, drafting share plan documentation, advising on corporate governance, the many aspects of share plan operation, employee trusts, the incentives aspects of executive hiring and termination decisions as well as relevant regulatory issues. **Job Requirements**: - Experience of managing and delegating work to junior team members - Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience at a well regarded city firm - Experience in incentives law - Experience of both large scale public company transactions and private company sales - Experience in drafting and reviewing legal incentives-related documents - Wider tax experience would be beneficial but not essential - Ability to fit into a close team, but equally able to work effectively with a large number of colleagues in other teams at all levels and successfully juggle a number of matters - Client facing experience and the ability to understand and respond effectively to client needs, with an interest in why clients operate employee share plans - A commercial approach
