Mount Nelson Hotel is looking for a Kitchen Administrator to support the Kitchen admin function.
- Coordinate and provide administrative support to all areas of the Kitchen, including payroll and on track.
- Coordinate and file all hygiene audits, results and correspondence.
- Coordinate and file all logs.
- Update all booking information from all outlets and communicate to necessary teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Kitchen office.
- Ensure that all the operational standard procedures/guidelines set for all processes/activities/situations are followed by all areas.
- Read through all handovers to be aware of what is happening on a daily basis.
- Assist with supervisory duties when necessary.
- Take minutes of and coordinate meetings.
- Assisting the Sous Chef with stock control and ordering.
- Ensure all training, audits and inspections are monitored and recorded.
- Liaise with the Technical Services team ensuring all maintenance issues are reported.
- Creating reports and presentations upon request.
- Responsible for the ordering of stationery for the Kitchen office.
- Assist with updating the OnTrack system daily.

**Requirements**:

- Matric qualification
- Previous experience in a 5 star environment is desirable
- Previous experience within a hotel kitchen is advantageous
- The ability to pay high attention to detail and work very accurately
- Deadline driven
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of excel
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Organized
- Ability to be assertive
- The ability to work in a highly pressurised work environment
- Computer Literate (MS Office (Excel), Opera)
