**Financial Director**

The FD for this Property Investment copany is expected to be the ethical standard-bearer, have an eye for detail and a deep understanding of the business, whilst also maintaining a macro view of the company’s financial position, strategic growth opportunities and the competitive landscape. Acting as strategic business partner to MD/CEO they will implement and lead initiatives that cut across various business functions. The role is of critical importance to the company’s financial health and long-term success.

**Essentials**:
CA (SA)

Minimum of 5 years corporate financial management experience

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Key business partner to MD.

Design and implement corporate restructures to ensure value enhancement and operational efficiencies.

Balance sheet optimization.

Develop new funding strategies, optimize existing funding and explore funding from non-traditional sources (internal companies and subsidiaries).

Develop and implement finance strategies including hedging policies, treasury policies etc

Implementation of internal business strategies.

Review of financial report packs including group companies.

Management of the annual report.

Review of internal financial controls and policies.

Development and review of financial dashboards.

Board and sub-committee pack preparation and review.

Development and implementation of tax strategies.

Review tax packs and submissions.

Analysis and review of internal and external cashflows.

Development and review cost saving initiatives.

Oversee the monthly financial reporting to the relevant Exco teams.

Continuously identify and pursue opportunities to improve control procedures.

Continuous development of static financial reports and dashboards that provide complete, reliable, accurate and timely business information.

Financial, tax and statutory due diligence on new investments.

Team management of 10 staff

**Salary**: R1,300,000.00 - R1,600,000.00 per year
